Live fire exercise23 June 2006
The Paradigm Infinitum Group's CEO, Mr Wai Kiong Chan was invited by an Australian emergency service agency to participate in a live fire exercise, in order to better appreciate the realities faced by professionals working in the agency. Paradigm Infinitum had recently been engaged to train senior managers for the organisation. |

According to Mr Chan, "The training was extremely realistic and exciting. It was surreal to see the gasses igniting into flames two metres above our heads. It was great to experience a real fire from a professional's perspective, dressed in the full turnout gear and breathing aparatus. Whilst the fire was real, participants felt safe at all times due to the strict safety protocols and the high level of professionalism of the trainers." "The Live Fire training was an excellent opportunity for me as a trainer in leadership and management to get a taste of the other types of training our clients experience in their professional careers. It also provided an insight into the very real physcial challenges our clients face in their daily work," Mr Chan said. |
