Paradigm Infinitum CEO Attends Graduation Ceremony at QCESA

Following the highly successful Paradigm Infinitum Executive Development Programmes held recently at the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy at Whyte Island, Paradigm Infinitum CEO Mr Kiong Chan was invited to attend the graduation ceremony of students receiving their Advanced Diploma in Fire Fighting. In attendance was the Minister for Emergency Services the Hon Pat Purcell MLA, and Queensland Fire and Rescue Service Commissioner Mr Lee Johnson.

According to Mr Chan, Emergency Services Minister Pat Purcell’s speech reflected the personal values of the Minister. “The Minister emphasised the importance of valuing people who worked in the department, and treating staff with dignity. The Minister also acknowledged the importance of work-life balance and the importance of family and loved ones in achieving a balance at work,” said Mr Chan.

Mr Purcell also noted the recent incident of the highly successful handling of the ‘Port of Brisbane’ container ship emergency, where a container carrying volatile chemicals onboard a ship had leaked, sparking an emergency. “The Queensland Government and agencies such as the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service displayed a high level of preparedness and skill in successfully managing the incident. The Government and its agencies are determined to keep the community of Queensland safe, and they are doing a great job”, Mr Chan commented.
