Visit of Malaysian Consuls Mr Ong and Mr Jaswant

Paradigm Infinitum manager and Vice-President of the Australia-Malaysia Business Council (Queensland) (AMBCQ) Ms Shona Leppänen-Gibson and AMBCQ President Mr Leong Teoh recently met with Mr Ong, Malaysian Trade Commissioner and Mr S Jaswant, Malaysian Consul for Investment and Director of the Malaysia Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) who were on an official visit to Queensland.

Ms Leppänen-Gibson welcomed the visit of Consul Ong and Consul Jaswant. She said that it was a good opportunity to touch base with the Malaysian Consulate. Ms Leppänen-Gibson added, “With APEC 2007 coming up in Sydney, there will be a focus on Australia from countries in our region. Australian businesses can look forward to opportunities for further engagement with their Asian counterparts”.
