Paradigm Infinitum CEO Mr Wai Kiong Chan recently visited business counterparts in Guangzhou, China. Mr Chan said that he was amazed by the very high quality of customer service displayed throughout the city. According to Mr Chan, “ Guangzhou is a city with a population of 12 million people, more than half of the entire population of Australia. It is also the eighth largest city in China.”

“I was truly impressed by the consistently high quality of customer service provided by everyone from restaurant staff to hotel staff, retailers, petty traders to business executives and managers", Mr Chan said.

Vibrant and hospitable Guangzhou
"It is a very strong indication of the commitment of the central government and the people of China towards hosting a successful Olympic games in China in 2008. The city administrators understand the important role that will be played by all cities in China with the expected tourism boom from the Beijing Olympic games. The positive vibe that Guangzhou exuded was very inspiring. I believe that other cities can learn from Guangzhou and promote better customer service practices. This will lead in the long term to a stronger economy,” Mr Chan said.
