Paradigm Infinitum Delivers Back-to-Back LEAD Programmes
During November, Paradigm Infinitum ran two weeks of the LEAD Programme for a major client, the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service. Two groups of 12 firefighters, from the ranks of Station Officer, Leading Firefighter, and also Inspector, completed the programme held at Whyte Island at the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy.
Participants on the LEAD Programme were part way through their Advanced Diplomas of Firefighting, whereas previous groups had attended the LEAD Programme as the final stage of their qualification. The QFRS made these changes in response to feedback provided by previous participants who felt the understanding and strategic perspective they gained from the programme would be of even greater benefit if it was introduced earlier.
“Many participants have commented that once they completed the LEAD Programme, everything else they did in their Advanced Diploma made more sense to them. The appreciation of the overall organisational perspective and strategic thinking provided by the programme was invaluable, and in many cases, renewed their passion for their work,” CEO Kiong Chan commented.
“Paradigm Infinitum was very happy to accommodate our client’s request. The feedback we get from our participants is crucial in fine tuning the materials to ensure we uphold our reputation for excellence in professional development.”
The LEAD Programme was once again a great success, with excellent feedback from participants.
