LEAD Programme Delivered to QFRS Group 9

During the week of the 4 th of August, Paradigm Infinitum was once again engaged to deliver the LEAD Programme to a group of Station Officers from the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service. This is the ninth time Paradigm Infinitum has run the LEAD Programme for the QFRS and it was again a great success.

“The LEAD Programme is a great experience for the participants and for us as facilitators. The organisation as well gets a lot of benefit from the course. We cover a wide range of topics, from leadership, to strategy, ethics, negotiation, media and so on, in a manner that pulls all these myriad of concepts together into a cohesive whole,” said Ms Leppanen-Gibson.

“It is wonderful for us as facilitators to watch the transformation of the participants from their perceived roles as middle managers, sometimes cynical, sometimes disillusioned, to embracing the idea of themselves as leaders within the organisation. They have so much to offer the organisation, their colleagues and themselves, and they leave the LEAD programme with a much better appreciation of their abilities, and what it is possible to achieve within the organisation,” commented Mr Chan.
