Paradigm Infinitum Bronze Sponsor of the
AMBCQ AirAsia X Malaysia Ball 2008
Paradigm Infinitum was honoured to once again take part in the annual Australia Malaysia Business Council Qld Malaysia Ball as a bronze sponsor which took place at Michael’s Oriental on Friday 29 th August. Ms Shona Leppanen-Gibson, General Manager of Paradigm Infinitum and Senior Vice President of the AMBCQ was the Master of Ceremonies for the night, while Mr Kiong Chan, Paradigm Infinitum CEO and AMBCQ President gave a key note address on this year’s theme, “The Contribution of Malaysians of Indian Background to Malaysia’s Historical Development, Economic Growth, and Future Prosperity.”
An evening of delicious Malaysian-Indian food, traditional Indian entertainment, a funky designer label fashion parade, and fantastic giveaways including 6 return air tickets to Kuala Lumpurwith AirAsia X, coloured a fantastic Malaysia Ball. A spectacular classical Tamil solo dance and a riveting instrumental on the sitar and tabla, set the mood on the night, and a distinctively Australian flavour was provided by Fashion-on-Demand, whose fashion parade featured local Brisbane designers Daniel Alexander, Barcode, and Veinwear shoes.
The AMBCQ was very privileged to have the Hon John Mickel MLA, Minister for Trade, Transport and Industrial Relations as a special guest and speaker, as well as Cr Graham Quirk, Deputy Lord Mayor of Brisbane and Cr David Morrison representing Ipswich City Council. John-Paul Langbroek MLA, Shadow Minister for Education and Skills and Shadow Minister for the Arts helped enliven the party atmosphere further by bringing along his wife Stacey and his sister, TV personality Kate Langbroek, of ThePanel and Dancing with the Stars fame.
